The Grand Hotel de la Ville, the only five stars hotel in Parma, opened its doors for the first time in November 2003. The hotel is located downtown, within the Barilla Center, a shopping complex that houses the Academia Barilla, the Paganini Auditorium, Villa Eden Health Club Spa, shops and a multiplex cinema. The Grand Hotel de la Ville offers 100 rooms and 9 suites, conference rooms with natural day light for up to 300 persons, restaurant "Parmigianino" and America Bar "Colibrì" with "al fresco" seating, roof terrace, fitness room with sauna and Turkish bath and a garage with 600 car spaces.
